Some of our current initiatives include:
--petitioning local governments to oppose the Supreme Court Citizen United decision treating corporations as people and opening the floodgates for undisclosed corporate contributions.
--supporting Gloucester’s working harbor against zoning changes that threaten its existence and supporting the Fort neighborhood against buy-outs that would expell the people of this historic neighborhood.
--supporting homeowners caught in the collapse of the derivatives market.
--supporting Addison Gilbert Hospital as a full-service hospital.
--bringing our own and local government bank accounts back to local banks and local investments.
