Peace Action Working Group

Public Meetings

TBA

Mailing List: peaceaction@lists.occupyboston.org

Our Mission

We are a working group comprised of various individuals intent upon the same long term goals: ending the wars, bringing the troops home, keeping "war dollars" available for use in the United States to rebuild infrastructure, educate our population, clean up the environment and maintain the earth as a viable, stable place for human life to coexist with all other forms of life, and to foster Peace throughout the world.

The members of the Peace Action Working Group (PAWG) are dedicated to non-violent action and non-cooperation with violence in all of its forms, including immoral laws that impact our communities, the nation, and the world. We have decided upon the following points (open for discussion, removal, or new additions):

  • Complete nonpartisanship
  • Treating all people with dignity and respect
  • Support Occupy Boston and other Occupy movements
  • Maintain non-violence, peace is the active word
  • Act and Organize openly, honestly, and accountably
  • Communicate openly and effectively
  • Meet and collaborate with Working Groups
  • Ensure consistant communication toward attaining our goals
