A group of Occupy supporters meets monthly in Lexington and is deciding what local and global issues to focus our efforts on. This page and those linked to it are a work in progress, to be edited by anyone in this group. Our current topics of interest are:

Amendment to counteract Citizens United decision

This fundamental concern will be ongoing for several years. We will educate ourselves and coordinate with regional and nationwide groups to work toward a U.S. Constitutional amendment limiting the effect of corporate money on electoral politics.

Actions to move money out of large banks

This is a tangible, immediate action that anyone can make. We will gather information and promote this idea in our community.
