-Commercial retail or privately owned public space -Research task force created to identify potential indoor spaces (Union outreach, working with Labor Council on finding space, Union Halls as example) -Warehouses in Somerville, Charlestown, and Canton. -Public Schools slated for closure. -Put ad in paper? -Large general space and decentralized smaller spaces in neighborhoods (some people are in favor of occupying foreclosed homes, others opposed) -Visibility and Symbolism is important -Important to maintain Dewey for visibility and symbolism- seconded -communication for mobility

SAFETY John Ford's ideas for proposal -evacuation route -fire extinguisher boxes plentiful -no smoking in tents -all hay must go -pallets for tents -signs in to sealable bins overnight -sanitation working group -new comers asked to fill bag of trash -safety protocol clearly demarkated

Safety WG Proposal for GA 10/29/11 -fires always being put out -rotating into safety shifts -current members train new volunteers -no being intoxicated -those found under influence will be asked to step down for day -Police not wanted for non violent petty crime -creation of protocol for -venting helped -mediation training

Q-what about two weeks, necessary for participation in safety WG? A-unanswered Amendment: Once trained individual can share shifts between small groups.
Q-how do you become part of safety? A- Go to weekly meetings mentioned in proposal or daily meetings (4pm at safety tent next to medics)
Q- Is there an option for Weekend shifts? A- After training is complete
Q- How do we limit safety to people who are known and trusted in the community A- All safety personnel must complete one week training prior to one week shift
Q – What is safety training? A – Dunno, come to Safety WG meetings to discuss.
