Why Intersectional?

Because forms of oppression within society, such as racism, sexism, homophobia, Islamophobia, do not act independently of one another; instead, these forms of oppression interrelate, creating a system of oppression that reflects the "intersection" of multiple forms of discrimination (from wikipedia).
