You can do this in Massachusetts by going to your local registry of deeds or going online to: [Massachusetts Land Records.] You can find the complete list of the institutions that have held your mortgage, including any robo-signers and/or any involvement with "MERS." Then you can follow the steps in the chart below and make use of the templates that are shared freely here.
