Occupy the NH Presidential Primary

This page organizes Occupy Boston's support of the Occupy New Hampshire events during their Presidential Primary: Jan. 6 - 10. We will carpool or bus up together and join our voices with our buddies in NH. Feel free to edit this content and leave comments on the Discussion tab to join the Occupy Boston effort.  You can also email directly to Occupythenhprimary@gmail.com.

ONH plans four days of action in Veterans' Park, on Elm St. in Manchester - about an hour north of Boston. Occupy Boston can support this very visible effort in three ways:

  1. timeslots available for those wanting to present an event (see schedule at www.occupynh.org);
  2. logistical support for the people attending: food, facilitation, etc.
  3. participants!

ONH General Assemblies are held at 6:00 every night for those able to coordinate in person.  Here is a quote from their page.  Go to www.occupynh.org for the latest information.

"Occupy the NH Primary will address growing economic inequality and the disproportionate economic and political power of corporate America and the wealthiest 1%. We want to highlight our concerns that the candidates and media ignore. Events include marches, debates, street theater, workshops, and entertainment. Occupy groups in NH and throughout the region are encouraged to reserve a 2-hour block for their own event."
