Purpose

The Occupy Boston Queer and Trans Caucus has been meeting for over a month, discussing how to make Occupy Boston more supportive space for queer and trans people to engage, and to raise awareness about particular issues our community faces.

November 20, 2011: Join the Queer And Trans Caucus at Occupy Boston in commerating the Transgender Day of Remembrance at Occupy Boston. At 11am, the Free School University will host the Transgender Awareness Workshop, which offer tools for people who are interested in learning how to be better allies to transgender people, especially those of us who live and participate in Occupy Boston. Then at 3pm, we march to the vigil. It begins at 4pm at St. Paul's Cathedral at 138 Tremont St. Trans people and allies are encouraged to attend in this event.
