- at least 50% of rooftops must be set aside for public gardens, wind turbines, solar
- at least 10% of all the acreage of land used for new multi-family housing has to be "set aside" for public commons, either in cash donation to land purchase funds, or actual land itself
- at least 10% of all public lands must be available for farming & community gardens
- at least 5% of all public lands must be available for camping/gatherings
- 10% of the market value of all single-family homes built and/or 25% of the market value of all multi-family homes built will go directly toward units that minimal wage workers can afford to buy/rent
- for homes built on land not near public transit, tax that pays for free urban transit
EDUCATION COMMONS
- schools to teach per "7 generation" principles
- business schools that receive public funding must teach "triple bottom line" principles
- establish public magnet schools that are horticultural academies that also care for public land & grow food
