Group Meeting: Sunday, November 13th, 2011-- Ideas working group notes 11/13

Public Discussion: Friday, November 11th, 2011--see notes from 11/11 meeting

Group Meeting: Wednesday, November 9th, 2011--

-there was a particularly important facilitation meeting that went on for a few hours, so it ate up the ideas meeting (I was the only one). But I did talk to a gentleman that wanted to give his idea to us. It is a mock letter that he wrote, and he was thinking that a sign or some campaign using the letter might be helpful:

Dear Congressman,

Congratulations on your fine work securing America for the right sort of people.

The time has now come to consolidate our dominance over the nation's symbolic ritual as well as its wealth.  You will soon be hearing from our lobbyists directing you to sponsor legislation amending the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.  What the country now needs is apledge that more accurately reflects the realities of today's America and our control over it.  We believe the following revision will accomplish the desired effect:

PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE
TO THE FLAG
OF THE CORPORATE STATE OF AMERICA
AND TO THE PLUTOCRACY
- FOR WHICH IT NOW STANDS -
PILLAGING THE NATION
UNDER MAMMON
FACELESS AND INVISIBLE
WITH LIBERTY FOR THE RICH
AND JUSTICE FOR NONE

Be sure to include a provision in the bill mandating daily recitation of the revised pledge ofallegiance in the nation's schools.  This will serve to instruct America's youth about the kind of society they will inherit.

In Solidarity,

Forbes

That's it.
